Scientific novelty of our proposed work is that the first use of direct current with changes to the technical parameters within the doses that are allowed for this type of energy possible to obtain a high clinical results. (Innovative patent number 20649 of Republic of Kazakhstan – A method of treating dental disease by electrophoresis)

The purpose of the study is the use of DC electrophoresis to study the characteristics of clinical and morphological changes in the tissues of the maxillofacial region when the technical parameters.

Experimental methods of investigation include the study of the degree of diffusion of drugs in healthy and diseased tissue. Experiments were performed on adult rats, weighing 250- 280 gram, as well as remote as indicated by human teeth.

Morphological studies were conducted at the Department of Pathomorphology by microscopy.
The reliability of the study confirmed a large number of experimental studies (180 rats and 320 remote on the testimony of human teeth.) We took the average value. Counting was performed on computer algorithms calculate averages.

Changing the characteristics of DC electrophoresis with the variation of the amplitude leads to a significant impact passion penetration of drugs. In this connection, a deep diffusion of the deposit and increases the concentration of drugs and prolong the action of the drug.
In the case of DC electrophoresis in the root canal can reduce the multiplicity of effects than the traditional method of electrophoresis.

Morphological studies

Morphological studies

Experimental studies have shown that administration of drugs by electrophoresis in a traditional way of tooth enamel covered surface layers without any noticeable stains deep into the underlying tissues. When using a DC with modified parameters provided a deeper penetration of dye into the tissues of the tooth, including enamel. In the enamel penetration depth increased by 1.2 times in the dentin – 1.6 times, the mucous gum – 1.8 times compared with the traditional method of administration of drugs. (P> 0,001).

Studies on the development and implementation of a new method of electrophoresis of drugs in the maxillofacial region in animals have shown significant efficacy of using this method of introduction of drugs, especially in soft tissues. After obtaining permits standardization of medical equipment will be prompted to clinical testing, followed by the widespread introduction into clinical practice.
