A streak of quacks is seen doing their business of extracting teeth in the areas of Saidpur, Jhangi Syedan, Bani Gala, Shahzad Town, Taramri Chowk, Bhara Kahu and other vicinities. They are illiterate and cannot even write their names but are playing with the lives of people under the garb of dentistry. “I got a tooth extracted from one of these quacks but I am now patient of hepatitis due to use of filthy equipment by the fake dentist. He also charged me heavily as his fee was only Rs 50 less than that of qualified dentists," said Noman Gul, a citizen. The residents have demanded that the authorities concerned launch an operation against these quacks forthwith.
